We are pleased to announce that we are running a summer school activity programme this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most children have had a disruptive 18 months. When it comes to their education, this is alarming.
To make sure that your child does not fall behind, we are offering sessions throughout the summer. Not only will your child be able to have some much needed catch up time, but they will also benefit from experiencing a structured educational setting.
What is the Summer School Activity Programme?
The summer school activity programme has been designed with your children in mind. We will engage the children with learning activities that unleash their imaginations. Part of the programme, your child will receive academic education as well as enrichment activities.
Through the programme we hope to refresh and develop your child’s skills and understanding. Alongside the academic benefits, your child will have the opportunity to develop relationships. The activities aim to boost student confidence and have a positive impact on their wellbeing.
The activity programme is running from Monday 26th July 2021 until Thursday 19th August 2021, Mondays to Thursdays between 9:30am and 1:30pm. The programme is suitable for children aged between 5 and 14 years.
Is the Summer School Programme Safe?
We understand that you may be concerned about the safety of your child with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Rest assured that we continue to follow government guidelines and necessary hygiene measures.
In order to protect the students and our tutors, we have implemented a number of precautionary measures. This includes having hand sanitiser available in all rooms and regular sanitising of surfaces.
We ask that you cancel your child’s session if they have any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms. Find out more about the current safety precautions in place through our COVID-19 information page.
How Can My Child Get Involved?
Prices for the summer school activity programme are £50 per day or £150 per week. An additional £3.50 per day is required if you would like us to supply food for your child. We accept Sodexo and Edenred childcare vouchers.
If your child is entitled to free school meals, the summer activity programme is free of charge.
